1) Redundancy
What is Redundancy: Duplication of
data, If one hard disk fails Data remains in another hard disk.
Let us assume that you worked with
employee.xlsx and click save.
Because of Storage space option two
employee.xlsx files are saved.
One file in 500gb and another copy in 350 gb. If 500 gb hard disk fails, Data(employee.xlsx) in 350 gb hard disk. Niece feature isn't it.

How to implement Redundancy
Log in in windows 8
Click on Desktop
Press F3 button on keyboard
Select Settings option
In search text box enter “storage space” without quotes enter
search button
Select First option that is,Storage Spaces
You can see below screen
Now click on Create a new pool and storage, Continue.
